Below are some pictures of the river near the center in Iquitos. There are actually three (I think) rivers surrounding the city...it is sort of an island and you can only get to it by boat or plane...no roads! One of those rivers is the Amazon but this one is not it...I have yet to actually see The Amazon but am excited for it. You can see below that there are tons of people that live right on the water...literally...it is amazing!
