What are we doing here?

What are we doing here in Iquitos ? What does our time here look like? I don’t know exactly what it will all look like here. Right now we are going to school every morning from 8am-1pm. Every two weeks or so we will be studying a different topic with a different professor. This last week and the next we are studying Social Anthropology. It is very interesting stuff…it would be challenging in English…but in Spanish…wow, it is extremely difficult. We have our entire class on our computer document so every night we read to try to prepare for the next day’s class…more Spanish but at least it is at my speed and I have time to look up all the words I don’t know;) Our afternoons will vary. There will be projects to do with the churches here and lots of studying. Although school is what will be taking up most of our time…the 40/40s are really our first priority. We want to make sure they are doing well and that we are able to do all we can for them, emotionally, spiritually and physically. Please pray for our team..for understanding of all we are learning, for physical, emotional and spiritual strength, for the meshing of partners, for open doors to share Christ with the local people.
